Import bank statements

Instead of typing transactions, you import them straight from your bank’s statement file. boeq reads CAMT.053 (XML) and MT940 formats from every Dutch bank.

Download the file at your bank

Section titled “Download the file at your bank”

In your bank’s online environment, export your statement as:

  • CAMT.053 — an .xml file (preferred), or
  • MT940 — a .940, .sta or .txt file.

Import it into boeq

Section titled “Import it into boeq”
  1. Go to Boekingen and tap Bankafschrift importeren.
  2. Pick the file you downloaded.
  3. boeq shows a preview: the number of transactions, the period, and the totals in and out.
  4. Check the preview and confirm.

boeq tells you how many nieuwe boekingen it added.
